DH is talking to his cousin and a wind-mill salesman about wind turbines. Our cow pasture might be a good place for such. Take a big chunk out of the electric bill.
We'll see what the man has to say.

That would be so cool. I've wanted one in our upper field for years, but I doubt it would work. How much land do the want and what kind of access chunk do the have to carve up?
It looks like a an airplane prop on top of a street light pole, with a concrete base.
I don't think we're going to go that route because of kids' braces.
